Το όνομα του κόμματος σημαίνει "Εμείς Μόνοι μας" και ευαγγελίζεται το "The Cause" ακόμα και μετά το τέλος των "The Troubles" και την ειρήνευση στο νησί αυτό. Είναι κατ' εμέ η Ιρλανδική έκδοση αυτού που στην περίπτωση της Ελλάδας λέμε "Μεγάλη Ιδέα" και "αλύτρωτες πατρίδες" και στην Τουρκία το λένε "τα σύνορα της καρδίας μας".
