Όμως το να μην αναγνωρίζει τους δυο αρχαίους φιλοσόφους ως ουμανιστές ΔΕΝ αποτελεί σοβαρό κριτήριο ξεσκαρταρίσματος της ήρας από το στάρι, όπως και ο ισχυρισμός ότι τέλειωσε η φοιτητική του visa και ψάχνεται. Είχα συγκάτοικο Ινδή, στην φοιτητική εστία, που έτρεμε στην ιδέα του να ξαναγυρίσει στην οικογένειά της στην Βομβάη, όταν θα τέλειωνε τις σπουδές, γιατί ήξερε πως θα την εξαναγκάζανε σε πράγματα που επ ουδενί ήθελε να κάνει ...δεν ήταν -απλά- θέμα ότι της άρεσε η βρετανική dolce vita. Αν, όμως, δεν έχει φάει κανείς το αγγούρι στον ποπό του, εύκολα κατακρίνει.Ο κος Walayat, θα μπορούσε -πιο εύκολα, ίσως- να ισχυριστεί ότι είναι άθεος, no? Επίσης θα μπορούσε να μελετήσει και να παπαγαλίσει τα του ουμανισμού.
