Πιο δημοφιλές Trending Topic αναδεικνύεται σήμερα το #BoycottGermany στο ελληνικό Twitter, το οποίο καλεί σε μποϋκοτάζ των γερμανικών προϊόντων. Και δεν θα μας έκανε ιδιαίτερη εντύπωση, αν στην αναζήτησή μας στο αντίστοιχο γερμανικό Twitter, δεν ήταν επίσης στην πρώτη θέση.
Οι πλειονότητα των Γερμανών χρηστών του Twitter, τάσσονται στο πλευρό της Ελλάδας, επικρίνοντας τη σκληρή στάση Σόιμπλε και Μέρκελ. Tα tweets με το hashtag #BoycottGermany αυξάνονται με απίστευτο ρυθμό. Ωστόσο δεν είναι όλα επικριτικά. Υπάρχουν και οι φωνές αυτών που υποστηρίζουν ότι το μποϋκοτάζ σε μια χώρα που σου δανείζει, είναι τουλάχιστον υποκριτικό, ενώ όλοι έχουμε ανάγκη για ενότητα αυτή την ώρα και όχι για συμπεριφορές που διχάζουν.
